Job Description:

We are looking for a Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team at Keswick Reach Lodge Retreat in Cockermouth, Cumbria. Hourly rate of £12.21

This is a permanent position to work part time hours. This will be 16 hours across 2 variable days which will include weekends and bank holidays.

Typical shift patterns are as below:

1. 9:30am - 5:00pm
2. 12:00pm - 9:00pm
3. 2:00pm - 10:30pm
4. 5:00pm - 10:30pm

Flexibility is essential to suit the needs of the business.

About The Role

Main responsibilities:

• Become a part of our Front of House team.
• Take food and drink orders.
• Assist with clearing and resetting tables within the restaurant.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
• Be responsible for accurate and efficient stock rotation.
• Be responsible for accurate cash handling, using EPOS system.
• Ensure the cleanliness and presentation of the bar and restaurant areas is always maintained to a five-star standard.
• Assist with the swift collection of glasses and tableware.

Requirements:

Similar previous experience is preferred. Positive work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills. A driving licence and the ability to drive is an advantage to enable easy travel to and from the resort.
