The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Foiling Operator to support our hardworking & friendly production team based in Norwich. You will be an integral part of our production team, producing high-quality products. Your attention to detail and expertise will ensure that our production processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Set up and operation of foiling lines and ancillaries.
  2. Producing the correct foiled products in accordance with the production plan.
  3. Recording all outputs from the machine using the S.I.C. and O.E.E. paperwork and procedures provided.
  4. Ensuring that quality standards of the finished goods are met and defects are minimised.
  5. Recording quality performance and checks using the paperwork and procedures provided.
  6. Assist with the movement of finished goods to and from the foiling area.
  7. Assisting the flow of material through the foiling machines by assisting in the movement of stillages in the area, reducing machine stoppages.
  8. Assisting in the in feed / off load areas of foiling as required.
  9. Assisting in keeping the factory areas safe, clean and tidy.
  10. Carrying out daily safety checks on machinery and equipment.
  11. Support, coach and share knowledge of the processes, operating procedures, set ups and any other essential skills with other members of the team as appropriate.

  1. Previous manufacturing industry or engineering production background desirable.
  2. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  3. Ability to work efficiently and meet production deadlines.
  4. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  5. Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a production environment.
