The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Foiling Operator to support our hardworking & friendly production team based in Norwich. You will be an integral part of our production team, producing high-quality products. Your attention to detail and expertise will ensure that our production processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operation of foiling lines and ancilliaries.
  • Producing the correct foiled products in accordance with the production plan.
  • Recording all outputs from the machine using the S.I.C. and O.E.E. paperwork and procedures provided.
  • Ensuring that quality standards of the finished goods are met and defects are minimised.
  • Recoding quality performance and checks using the paperwork and procedures provided.
  • Assist with the movement of finished goods to and from the foiling area.
  • Assisting the flow of material through the foiling machines by assisting in the movement of stillages in the area, reducing machine stoppages.
  • Assisting in the in feed / off load areas of foiling as required.
  • Assisting in keeping the factory areas safe , clean and tidy.
  • Carrying out daily safety checks on machinery and equipment.
  • Support, coach and share knowledge of the processes, operating procedures, set ups and any other essential skills with other members of the team as appropriate.

  • Previous manufacturing industry or engineering production background desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet production deadlines.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a production environment.
