At Rosslyn, we believe in value-based hiring— skills can be taught, but care and connection comes from within. We’re building a team driven by delivering hospitality with purpose, passion, and empathy, creating impact for each other, our guests, and our community. If you take pride in your work, we’d love to hear from you.

At the heart of it all, what we do is simple… “we are nice to people, and we make nice coffee”

About the Role

As a Front of House Barista at Rosslyn, you’ll be the heart of the guest experience, ensuring exceptional coffee and warm hospitality in a fast-paced environment. We offer a flexible schedule, with shifts running Monday to Friday (06:00–18:00) and Saturdays (08:30–17:00). Our commitment to work-life balance means evenings off, a 40-hour workweek, and shifts under 10 hours.

What You’ll Do

  • Keep things running smoothly in the shop
  • Uphold our specialty coffee standards—or bring the drive and work ethic to master them
  • Create meaningful connections, recognising how hospitality and a great cup of coffee can positively change someone’s day
  • Contribute to a welcoming environment, making guests feel at home and eager to return
  • Be a true team player, supporting inclusivity and building relationships based on integrity and trust
  • Stay knowledgeable, confidently answering guest queries on our coffee and retail offerings
  • Work with composure and clarity, always looking to add value through your work

Work-life balance: Evenings off, 40-hour workweek, shifts under 10 hours
