As a Barista, you’ll be a key player in delivering exceptional drinks, warm hospitality, and an environment that feels both premium and personal. Key Responsibilities

1. Coffee Craftsmanship • Prepare all espresso and filter drinks to a consistently exceptional standard. • Dial in espresso and pour-over daily, understanding how to balance flavour, texture, and extraction. • Maintain a sharp eye on quality through regular calibration and keen sensory awareness. • Stay curious and informed about the specialty coffee scene, from processing methods to emerging trends. • Take pride in working with some of the world’s rarest beans and continually pushing your skillset forward.

2. Customer Experience • Be the warm, welcoming face of the bar, greeting guests with genuine enthusiasm and professionalism. • Deliver thoughtful, world-class service that builds customer loyalty and makes people feel seen. • Build rapport with regulars, contribute to a buzzing shop atmosphere, and help nurture a true sense of community. • Handle customer questions or concerns with empathy, clarity, and a solutions-first mindset.

3. Operational Excellence • Keep the bar clean, organised, and running like clockwork, from opening to close. • Manage stock levels proactively, communicating any shortages to the team in good time. • Maintain high hygiene standards and ensure every drink is made with care, consistency, and attention to detail. • Follow all SOPs to ensure efficiency, quality, and a smooth service experience for guests and team alike.

4. Team Collaboration • Support your teammates during busy shifts, bringing energy, calm, and a can-do attitude. • Engage in ongoing training and development, sharing knowledge and learning from others. • Help create a culture that’s positive, inclusive, and always striving for better.
