Job summary

A major financial institution is seeking an Oracle Environment Manager for a hybrid role in London, responsible for managing and overseeing ERP environments as part of their Finance Modernisation Programme. Candidates must have 3+ years in ERP management and experience with SaaS environments, along with strong troubleshooting skills. This is a contract role inside IR35 for 4 months.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in an ERP environment management role, preferably with cloud ERP implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive environment roadmap covering SaaS, PaaS, and performance management platforms.
  • Lead setup and configuration of environments aligned with project timelines and security policies.
  • Manage environment refreshes, patching, and upgrades across all platforms.
  • Monitor health and performance, resolve issues in collaboration with technical teams and vendors.
  • Implement robust change control procedures with proper documentation and approvals.
  • Control access to environments in line with security and compliance standards.
  • Oversee data refresh strategies ensuring integrity and availability.
  • Lead resolution of environment-related incidents and root cause analysis.
  • Provide updates on environment status, risks, and issues.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process optimisation.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors for support and escalations.

FMP Oracle Environment Manager – SC Cleared London based (Hybrid) Inside IR35 via Umbrella 4 month contract

Role Overview:

Our client, a major financial institution are looking for an Oracle Environment Manager to be a pivotal figure of their Finance Modernisation Programme, responsible for the strategic planning, proactive management, and operational oversight of all programme environments; working alongside a fantastic programme team and reporting into the Technology ERP Platform Lead.

Programme environments in scope include Oracle Fusion SaaS, PaaS integration and EPM environments. The successful candidate will ensure environment readiness for various programme phases (development, testing, training, cutover to live, go–live and Hypercare support) and play a key role in release management activities across these diverse technology stacks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Environment Strategy & Planning: Develop and maintain a comprehensive environment roadmap covering SaaS, PaaS, and performance management platforms.
  • Provisioning & Configuration: Lead setup and configuration of environments aligned with project timelines and security policies.
  • Release Management: Manage environment refreshes, patching, and upgrades across all platforms.
