Job summary

Keelings is seeking an experienced procurement professional to manage relationships with growers and suppliers across the UK and internationally, developing sourcing strategies to support business growth.

You will negotiate terms, optimise packing solutions, and collaborate with commercial, category and operations teams to deliver profitability and service excellence, ensuring accurate forecasting and stock management in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous FMCG procurement experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Results-driven with commercial focus.
• Customer-focused with strong relationship management.
• Ability to manage detailed information and analyse effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deepen relationships with growers and suppliers across the UK and internationally.
• Manage risk and ensure year-round supply for customers.
• Negotiate best terms and pricing with suppliers and growers.
• Determine efficient packing solutions to optimise cost, margin and customer satisfaction.
• Forecast accurately, manage budgets and weekly reviews.
• Balance stock, minimise waste, and support profitability while maintaining service levels.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Category and Operations teams on market opportunities and seasonal planning.
• Work with Technical Managers to meet customer specifications and product requirements.
• Lead and develop the wider team, promoting health & safety standards.
