Job summary
Hunter Selection is seeking a Maintenance Engineer in Stonehouse to join a high-performing team on a day shift. You will respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults, and minimize downtime while delivering planned preventive maintenance across production equipment on a fast-paced food facility.
You will support improvement projects, seek reliability gains, and work closely with production teams to optimise performance, all while maintaining accurate maintenance records in a busy site environment.
Qualifications
- Multi-skilled engineer with hands-on capability across electrical and mechanical systems.
- Experience in FMCG food production environments is essential.
- Strong fault-finding skills for electrical and mechanical issues.
- Solid focus on health & safety in fast-paced settings.
- Compliance knowledge with the 18th Edition is required.
Responsibilities
- Respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults and minimise downtime.
- Deliver planned preventative maintenance across production and site equipment.
- Support improvement projects and system upgrades.
- Identify ways to improve machinery reliability and efficiency.
- Work with production teams to optimise performance.
- Maintain maintenance records and assist with facilities maintenance.
