Job summary

Natures Way Foods is seeking a Department Manager at the Selsey site to lead a team of Manufacturing and Production Operatives, delivering safe, efficient operations and high-quality output that meets customer standards.

Reporting to the Shift Manager, you will coach and develop your team, drive KPI achievement, maintain GMP and food safety standards, and work closely with Technical, Engineering, Hygiene, Logistics, H&S and Finance teams to keep production on track.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing teams within an FMCG or food manufacturing/fresh produce environment.
• Strong ability to handle complex, demanding workloads.
• Commercial awareness with ability to balance priorities and meet customer needs.
• Excellent planning and time management under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop your team to ensure production runs on time and to specification.
• Collaborate to resolve seasonal challenges and variable raw product quality.
• Deliver to KPIs, GMP, food safety and health & safety standards.
• Work with Technical, Engineering, Hygiene, Logistics, H&S and Supply Chain teams.
