Average Salary:

Competitive salary based on skills and experience.

Working Patterns:

Monday – Friday: 8 AM – 5 PM

About You and The Role:

You will be responsible for many key aspects of the buying functions and its administration which has a direct impact on the success and profitability of the company. You will be actively involved with other team members at all levels including senior management, plus contact with the suppliers and customers.

Job Duties:
  • Maintain an accurate database of supplier contact information including any special requirements.
  • Ensure all pricing and product information is up to date on the database.
  • To ensure all purchase orders entered the system are accurate.
  • Issuing order confirmations to suppliers.
  • Buying & stock management.
  • Monthly sales reporting review with Buyer to review category/brand performance.
  • Managing the promotional and new product development forward planner.
  • Liaising with all departments ensuring projects are delivered within deadline and schedule.
  • Selecting new products and reviewing the old.
  • Costing Negotiations and ensuring buying within the budget.
  • Finding the right suppliers (Doing a lot of research before choosing suppliers).
  • Stock control of the existing and new inventory.
  • Analyse market trends and apply this knowledge to make insightful buying decisions & react to any changes in customers’ demand.
  • Create reports and predict future sales.

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with a good working knowledge of Excel.
