Job Description:

Reporting to the Head of Projects, you will be responsible for managing and executing a variety of projects across the QAH contract including CAPEX Projects and Lifecycle Planned Projects, showing at all times a strong methodical approach to project management with a good knowledge and understanding of CDM and RIBA stages of work.

You will act as Principal Contractor under CDM2015 with all works delivered by contractors. You'll take a brief from the client, then use external contractors for all elements; design, structural, architectural, M&E etc.. You'll manage the whole process from cradle to grave, keeping the client informed at every stage.

Recent Projects include departmental moves and reconfiguration works prior to moving in, including building two operation theatres. Current and future projects will include Solar PV installed on site and potentially a solar car port along with some upgrade works on the Steam raising plant.

Lifecycle and variation projects being £2m last year but expect to be £7m this year, potentially £10m next year

About 16 years left on the contract and this role requires 5 days a week on site. 8am to 4pm. Free park and ride to site.
