Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a proactive Junior Category Manager to support procurement and category management of Facilities Management services and products across the UK & Ireland. You will work with stakeholders and suppliers to deliver category strategies, generate savings, and ensure quality, compliance, and value for our customers.

This role suits candidates with strong commercial awareness and relationship skills.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial awareness and financial acumen.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with Power BI is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to interpret and analyse data to support decisions.

Responsibilities

• Support management and development of assigned procurement categories.
• Collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders to deliver category strategies.
• Identify opportunities to generate savings and improve efficiencies.
• Support supplier negotiations for competitive pricing and terms.
• Maintain supplier frameworks and commercial documentation.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Assist in procurement system data accuracy and compliance.
• Analyze spend and data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Coordinate with Finance and Supply Management for reporting.
