Job description

Building a sustainable tomorrow

BAM FM is recruiting an FM General Operative to join the team based at the Wallyford Learning Campus. The position is part-time, working 17 hours per week.

Available Shift Pattern:

8.00am - 5.00pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Pay: £13.58 per Hour.

Your mission

You will primarily be responsible for cleaning designated areas of the campus and assisting with janitorial tasks as needed.

  • Carry out daily cleaning of assigned areas.
  • Maintain high-quality work standards consistently.
  • Report faults and damages to your supervisor or line manager.
  • Perform other duties as directed by BAM FM and client management.
  • Collect, dispose of waste properly, and maintain waste bins and consumables.
  • Report faulty equipment and maintenance needs.
  • Assist with basic maintenance repairs, opening and closing the facility for bookings and events.
  • Set up furniture for events or bookings.
  • Conduct security patrols, greet visitors.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, quality, environmental policies, and legislation.
Who are we looking for?
  • At least 12 months of cleaning experience preferred but not necessary.
  • BICs qualification is an advantage.
  • PVG check for working with children is preferred.
  • Ability to understand and embody BAM values.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Good punctuality.
  • Knowledge of COSHH regulations.
