The role focuses on improving safety processes, PM maintenance alignment, site inspections, and collaboration with council partners. This is an ongoing, full-time position based in Richmond upon Thames, UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the auditing of FM Building Compliance and Health & Safety, issuing comprehensive monthly assurance reports to senior management.
• Identify, track, and ensure the resolution of any gaps in the annual Planned Preventative Maintenance plan, mitigating risks effectively.
• Spearhead the development and improvement of FM Safety and Compliance processes, fostering a safe working environment for all council staff.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify statutory adherence and assess the safety and quality of works.
• Review and approve internal and external Safe Systems of Work documentation to maintain compliance with legislative standards.
• Build robust relationships with key council representatives and partners through regular engagement and collaborative meetings.
• Use the Concerto CAFM system to manage asset information, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
• Collaborate on contractor performance improvements and strategic planning of facilities management services.
