Flutter Developer - Remote

Reed Technology are relighted to be working with a highly regarded, innovative Bristol based organisation with their search for a Flutter Developer for their business critical application.

Location: Bristol

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000

Role type: Permanent

Using modern Flutter practices, you will collaborate with product owners, designers and fellow engineers. The successful candidate will be adaptable, have first class attention to detail and experience working in an agile team.

What You`ll Be Doing

1. Developing and maintaining the organisation mobile application.
2. Collaborating with designers and product owners to create market-leading solutions tailored to users' needs.
3. Writing clean, testable, and maintainable code using modern Flutter practices.
4. Reviewing pull requests, participating in code reviews, and contributing to technical discussions.
5. Continuously refining processes, estimations, and technical documentation.
6. Debugging and optimising app performance to deliver a seamless user experience.
7. Presenting progress and results to stakeholders.

What We`re Looking for in You

1. Demonstrable experience of commercial Flutter development is required, with opportunities available for developers at junior, mid, and senior levels.
2. Proficiency in Dart and a solid understanding of mobile development best practices.
3. Prior experience in mobile development with other frameworks (e.g., iOS/Android native) is a significant advantage.
4. Experience with state management solutions such as Riverpod, BLoC, or Provider.
5. Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON for backend integration.
6. Familiarity with Git and an understanding of version control workflows within a CI/CD pipeline.
7. Experience with automated testing and a commitment to writing high-quality, testable code.
8. Strong problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.
