Expro is currently recruiting for a Fluids Operator (Field Chemist) to join the Fluidsteam based in Aberdeen.

Overall Purpose of the Job

Carry out field chemistry analysis of fluids offshore in a safe and efficient manner, complying with procedures and work instructions. Record resulting data and prepare reports up to client specifications.

Key Activities and Accountabilities

  • Conduct PVT experiments safely and efficiently according to specified methods in work instructions and procedures. Carry out measurements under supervision.
  • Perform onsite analysis of petroleum fluids according to customer requirements and approved methods.
  • Interpret data using laboratory software and calculation methods; document procedures and results for client presentation.
  • Perform equipment maintenance and calibration to ensure efficient operations.
  • Perform unsupervised Field Service activities at remote locations, liaising with customers as needed.
  • Carry out onsite (Wet Chemistry) analysis of petroleum fluids safely and efficiently.
