A Snapshot of Your Day
Join us as a Fluid Systems Design Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in designing fluid systems for gas turbine auxiliary equipment. Imagine leading the design of critical systems such as fuel, lubrication, and hydraulic start systems, while ensuring compliance with international standards. You will engage in analytical calculations and utilise advanced simulation tools to optimise designs. Your contributions will extend to safety analyses, testing, and validation, making a significant impact on our innovative projects. How You'll Make an Impact
  • You will conduct analytical calculations to support fluid systems designs, utilising both manual and computer-based methods.
  • You will prepare design reports and documentation to ensure compliance with European Directives and international standards.
  • You will perform safety analyses, including Risk Analysis, FMEA, HAZID, and HAZOP, to enhance system safety.
  • You will maintain standard design drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and product configurations to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • You will collaborate with global teams to resolve supply chain and installation issues, ensuring seamless project execution.
What You Bring
  • A degree in mechanical engineering or a related field with a 2.1 classification or above.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in fluid systems design and simulation tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration at all levels.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to investigate and resolve field failures.
  • Advanced English proficiency is required for effective communication in a global environment.
About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonisation opportunities through service offerings, modernisation, and digitalisation of the fleet.
