About EKIUM

Our projects range from feasibility studies to maintenance, supporting major global initiatives like the Hinkley Point and Sizewell C nuclear projects.

Position Overview

This is a consultancy-based position requiring on-site presence at the client's premises in Bristol 2–3 days per week.

Responsibilities
  1. Create, assess, and revise system documentation covering mechanical and thermo-hydraulic design, operator guidelines, and safety considerations.
  2. Perform analysis to define Instrument and Control (I&C) functional requirements.
  3. Oversee modification requests, creating specifications and ensuring adherence to engineering processes.
  4. Analyze and verify the relevance of modifications, providing critical assessments.
  5. Develop technical solutions, presenting them to clients to address technical challenges through optimization strategies.
  6. Create and revise component datasheets and update P&IDs to reflect design modifications.
  7. Collaborate with stakeholders during project meetings and reviews.
Qualifications and Experience
  1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  2. Significant experience in process engineering.
  3. Proven ability to manage workloads and produce quality documentation on time.
  4. Strong team relationship skills.
  5. Knowledge of EPR system design principles, Instrumentation and Control architecture, and Safety Classification.
  6. Experience in operational plant or industrial settings, preferably in the nuclear industry.
