Job summary

A leading engineering firm in the UK is seeking a Fluid Lines Designer to join their team for a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will design and develop fluid line installations for compact wheel loaders, working closely with global teams and ensuring high-quality deliverables. Strong 3D CAD skills, ideally in CREO, are essential, along with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Strong 3D CAD skills in fluid line modelling (ideally CREO).
• Knowledge of geometric dimensioning/tolerancing and engineering data management (ideally Teamcenter).
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to develop creative, practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop fluid line installations, including routing of hoses/tubes.
• Collaborate with global teams and suppliers to deliver designs into production.
• Manage design changes through the full engineering life cycle.

Skills

3D CAD skills in fluid line modelling (ideally CREO)

Knowledge of geometric dimensioning/tolerancing

Problem-solving skills

Excellent communication skills

Understanding of structured product development processes
