A leading engineering firm in the UK is seeking a Fluid Lines Designer to join their team for a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will design and develop fluid line installations for compact wheel loaders, working closely with global teams and ensuring high-quality deliverables. Strong 3D CAD skills, ideally in CREO, are essential, along with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Strong 3D CAD skills in fluid line modelling (ideally CREO).
• Knowledge of geometric dimensioning/tolerancing and engineering data management (ideally Teamcenter).
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to develop creative, practical solutions.

Fluid Lines Designer (Compact Wheel Loader) — Contract: Full-time, Temporary (6 months). Join a leading engineering team developing the next generation of compact wheel loaders. We’re looking for a skilled Fluid Lines Designer to create innovative solutions for hydraulic oil, engine coolant, and air conditioning systems in world-class mobile construction equipment.

What you’ll do

• Design and develop fluid line installations, including routing of hoses/tubes, adapter selection, and mounting arrangements.
• Collaborate with global teams, suppliers, and cross-functional departments to deliver designs into production that meet quality, cost, and schedule targets.
• Manage design changes through the full engineering life cycle.
• Communicate progress and technical details through reports and presentations.

What you’ll bring

• Strong 3D CAD skills in fluid line modelling (ideally CREO).
• Knowledge of geometric dimensioning/tolerancing and engineering data management (ideally Teamcenter).
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to develop creative, practical solutions.
