Job Title – Fluent French – Sales and Operations Manager

Department/Sector – Travel

Salary – £34k plus bonus £38k OTE

My client is recruiting a fluent French inbound travel Manager to join their sales and operations team.

You must have specific knowledge of the French group market incoming to the UK, with operations and sales management.

We need a true leader who will manage a team consisting of two sales consultants and two administration staff. You must keep the team motivated in order to achieve high performance and exceed department sales targets.

In the role, you will monitor the sales team's personal targets and in circumstances where a staff member is underperforming, you will advise, help, and put a plan in process to improve their performance.

You will hold weekly team meetings to discuss offers and promotions, explaining benefits to help staff performance.

Your team will tailor-make inbound travel arrangements, so you will be selling flights, accommodation, transport, and excursions.

Responsibilities:

  • Reach the targets and goals set for your team
  • Develop sales strategies and set targets
  • Present new products and services and enhance existing client relationships
  • Meet customer needs
  • Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business
  • Research and build relationships with new clients
  • Set up meetings between client decision-makers and company’s practice leaders/Principals

  • Maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions
  • Develop product knowledge by attending training sessions, familiarisation trips, and educational activities
