Job Title – Fluent French Sales Account Manager – Canadian Market

Department/Sector – Travel

Job Location – London

Salary – £18k – £24k plus £2k bonus

My client is recruiting a fluent French Sales Account Manager to join their sales team and represent the company in the Canadian Market.

The main responsibility of the role is to increase awareness of our client in the French & English speaking markets in Canada.

In the role you must maintain excellent working relationships with all B2B clients; you must develop and have total responsibility for all the confirmed travelling groups.

Another part of your role will be to generate incremental revenue streams by cross selling and up selling from the existing customer base.

You will manage all of the B2B activities for the sales team as well as coordinate with other teams to optimise the use of designs and materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Reach the targets and goals set for your area
  • Develop sales strategies and setting targets
  • Attend conferences, trade fairs and exhibitions
  • Travel abroad to meet new clients on a regular basis
  • Present new products and services and enhance existing client relationships
  • Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues
  • Meet customer needs
  • Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business
  • Find potential new customers, present to them, ultimately convert them into clients, and continue to grow business in the future
  • Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
  • Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization
  • Research and build relationships with new clients
  • Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s practice leaders/Principals
  • Negotiate and close business deals
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions
  • Develop product knowledge by attending training sessions, familiarisation trips and educational activities
