Job description

FLT YARD PERSON - MIDDLEWICH - A£12.50 per hour

Our established client based in Middlewich is seeking an experienced FLT Yard Person to join their team. This is a temp-to-perm role offering excellent career prospects.

The successful candidate MUST have been operating a Counterbalance FLT for at least 30 hours per week over the past 6 months.

The ideal candidate will possess similar experience and hold a valid in-date counterbalance licence.

Start date is ASAP.

General duties

1. Loading and unloading various types of vehicles
2. Moving pallets of waste around the site
3. Daily housekeeping, including pressure washing the floor
4. Driving the FLT / Fork Lift Truck
5. Assisting site chemists with daily tasks
6. Manual handling with lifting aids
7. Own transport is essential due to the location of the client

Hours and shift patterns

1. 45 hours per week (1-hour unpaid break per day, 40 hours paid)
2. Day shift until fully trained, Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm
3. Post-training shift weekly rota:
1. Monday - Friday, 6am - 3pm
2. Monday - Thursday, 9am - 6pm, and Friday, 8am - 5pm
