Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd in Derby is seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver for a busy, chilled warehouse and distribution operation. This ongoing temporary role offers weekday hours from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, with weekly pay and £13.40 per hour.

You will operate a counterbalance FLT, load/unload deliveries, move stock, and assist with order preparation while following food hygiene and health & safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Counterbalance FLT licence is required.
• Experience in a chilled warehouse is advantageous.
• Warehouse experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift to move palletised goods.
• Load and unload deliveries and transport vehicles.
• Move stock into storage areas and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Assist with warehouse duties, including picking and checking goods.

Monday to Friday FLT work with no weekend shifts! Earn £13.40 per hour with immediate starts available! We are recruiting Counterbalance Forklift Drivers to join a busy temperature-controlled warehouse and distribution operation in Derby. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for consistent weekday work in a fast-paced logistics environment.

• Operating a counterbalance forklift to move palletised goods safely around the warehouse.
• Loading and unloading deliveries and transport vehicles.
• Moving stock into designated storage areas and preparing orders for dispatch.
• Assisting with warehouse duties, including picking and checking goods.
• Handling chilled and temperature-sensitive products in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation and food hygiene.
• Following all Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices.

Duration: Ongoing temporary work with immediate starts available.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: £13.40 per hour, paid weekly.Holiday accrual up to 28 days pro rata. Please note: We do not offer visa sponsorship for this role.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00.

Experience & Qualifications

Previous warehouse and Counterbalance FLT experience is essential. A valid Counterbalance FLT licence is required. Experience working in a chilled warehouse or handling food products would be advantageous.
