Job summary

A leading logistics recruiter in Kettering is seeking a Warehouse Operative to perform various warehouse duties, including using a FLT to load and unload vehicles. Description of the customer

Full description of the role

• Using FLT to load/unload vehicles and put stock away in warehouse racking
• General warehouse duties
• Unloading bulk lubricants from tankers into IBC (large containers)
• Quality checking of products and testing samples
• Awareness & accountability when handling expensive products, in excess of £300,000 per day
• Responsible for receiving bulk lubricants into the internal tank farm ensuring that strict quality & environmental processes are followed

NOTE: FLT Driving is a small part of the role

Role Requirements:

• Counterbalance or Reach FLT licence
• Educated to GCSE Standard
• Experience in handling Bulk liquids would be desirable
• IT literate
• Use of WMS systems
• A good understanding of Safety in the workplace
