Job summary

A staffing agency is looking for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver in Falkirk, Scotland. The candidate will operate a forklift, assist with loading and unloading building materials, and must be adaptable to outdoor working conditions. A B1 Counterbalance Forklift Certificate and at least 1 year of experience are required. This position offers a schedule from Monday to Thursday, 6:00am to 4:30pm.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in operating a counterbalance forklift.
• Experience in a construction/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying conditions.

Overview

Manpower has an immediate start for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver with one of our clients based in Falkirk. Our client delivers building materials throughout Scotland.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance forklift up to 5000kg (B1).
• Assist with loading, unloading and movement of building materials.
• Work primarily outdoors; plan accordingly for weather and site conditions.

Requirements

• B1 Counterbalance forklift Certificate up to 5000kg
• 1 year minimum experience
• Experience using forklift in a construction/manufacturing environment
• Majority of work will be outside
• Experience with 4 fork and grab/clamp attachments (desirable)

Schedule

Monday – Thursday 6:00am – 4:30pm
