Job summary

Randstad Delivery is sourcing a Warehouse Operative & FLT driver for DS Smith’s Louth site. The role suits candidates with despatch warehousing or production experience, able to work 42 hours across days and nights, and committed to safety and quality.

Starting ASAP, you will handle loading/unloading, operate the FLT Counterbalance, maintain hygiene standards, and follow SAP-based procedures while supporting continuous improvement with the team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in despatch warehousing or production environment.
• Minimum 1 year FLT experience within last 3 years.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform manual handling including lifting and bending.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Solid IT literacy.
• Good knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, store and load finished goods.
• Operate the strapper.
• Unload/load with the FLT Counterbalance.
• Maintain high hygiene and housekeeping, adhere to BRC regulations.
• Monitor product quality to meet high standards.
• Follow maintenance schedules and report issues via SAP.
• Complete training and safety awareness documents.
• Ensure health & safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Collaborate with team and support continuous improvement.
