DHL in South Shields is seeking a Warehouse Operative with counterbalance FLT experience for afternoon/night shifts to support daily warehouse operations.

The role involves operating PPT and counterbalance FLT, breaking down and organising orders, loading wagons, and ensuring accurate paperwork while adhering to health and safety standards. This position requires manual handling and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience of using a counterbalance FLT (Essential Requirement)
• Previous practical experience as a Warehouse Operative, within a logistics environment or similar role and be familiar with all Manual Handling Procedures (desirable)
• Previous experience of the preparation and distribution of orders.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload.
• Willing to undertake training on other types of MHE such as LLOP Reach FLT and PPT
• Happy to undertake physically demanding work - this is not just a FLT role

Salary: £31, 117 per annum (annualised hours basis)

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Nights: Monday to Friday (2pm - 11pm)
Location: South Shields, NE34 9PH
