Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Peterborough is seeking experienced Day and Night Forklift Truck (FLT) Drivers to join our busy warehouse operations.

Work pattern is a 4 on/4 off cycle with 12-hour shifts (days 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, nights 7:00 PM–7:00 AM). Pay £13.55 per hour for days and £14.05 per hour for nights, with a start date of September 7, 2026.

Qualifications

• A valid, up-to-date Counterbalance FLT License is required.
• Minimum 3 months of Forklift Operative experience preferred.
• Excellent time management, organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must commit to 12-hour, 4-on/4-off shift pattern.
• Passport or Right to Work document required for photo ID verification.
• Willingness to undergo a basic DBS Check.

Responsibilities

• Operate Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently as part of a waste management and warehouse team.
• Load and unload pallet trailers; handle cardboard and plastic bales; sort, move and stack pallets.
• Support the team with general duties and routine cleaning to keep the warehouse running smoothly.
• Keep forklift and equipment clean, maintained and safe.
• Complete shift documentation and operational paperwork accurately.
• Follow site health and safety rules and wear PPE as required.

Your Responsibilities

• Working as a key part of our waste management and warehouse team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Forklift Trucks.
• FLT Operations: Safely loading and unloading pallet trailers, handling cardboard and plastic bales, and sorting, moving, and stacking pallets.
• Team Support: Acting as a versatile team player by providing general support to the waste team and performing miscellaneous cleaning duties to keep the warehouse running smoothly.
• Equipment Care: Ensuring your Forklift Truck and any associated equipment are kept clean, well-maintained, and in safe working order at all times.
• Administration: Accurately completing all necessary shift documentation and operational paperwork.
• Health & Safety: Strictly adhering to site health and safety legislation, including wearing all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Licensing: A valid, up-to-date Counterbalance FLT License is strictly required.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 months of experience as a Forklift Operative is highly preferred.
• Skills: Excellent time management, strong organizational skills, and a high attention to detail.
• Initiative: The ability to work confidently under your own initiative as well as collaboratively with the wider waste and cleaning team.
• Commitment: Must be fully committed to working the 12-hour, 4-on/4-off shift pattern.
• Identification: A valid Passport (or appropriate Right to Work document) is required for photo ID verification.
