We’re looking for a full-time, permanent Shunter who can operate an FLT to join our team in Doncaster, working on our site where we partner with British Gypsum. You'll be working a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 14:00 to 22:00.

Pay, benefits, and more:

We’re offering a salary of £14.62 per hour. An additional payment of £2.73 per hour is available between 18:00 and 06:00. In addition, we offer 25 days of holiday (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Work with plaster products both manually and with FLT
• Pick and assist in loading goods in a safety-conscious environment
• Load and strap vehicles and perform shunting duties if you have previous experience
• Use MHE effectively, with ongoing training available
• Additional duties may include gatehouse, yard duties, H&S audits, and inventory management

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous, including shunting experience
• Must have previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck and hold a valid FLT license (R.T.I.T.B or equivalent)
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in metal picking/packing and shunting is advantageous
• You must be a team player and able to move heavy products manually if needed
