Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting for a FLT Reach Truck Driver (days) in Northampton on a temp-to-perm basis. The role covers 18:00 to 06:00 shifts on a 4 on 4 off rotation, with rota’d days and overtime available. Pay is £17.04 per hour with £21.73 overtime on non rota’d days.

This is a long-term opportunity with progression and training options. Warehouse Operatives perform case picking, pallet stacking, and general duties while using FLT Reach Trucks and LLOP equipment.

Qualifications

• Operate FLT Reach Truck and LLOP in a busy warehouse environment.
• Perform case picking and stacking duties with accuracy.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily targets.
• Manual handling and physical duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate FLT Reach Truck and assist with pallet stacking.
• Perform case picking and hand-balling stock to cages/areas.
• Follow safety procedures and quality standards.
• Support colleagues in warehouse tasks as needed.

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives with their global logistics and supply chain company that operates both freight management and contract logistics. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with excellent earning potential and long-term prospects.

About the Role

Warehouse Operatives - Main duties and requirements are:

• Case Picking into cages
• Usage of the LLOP
• Usage of FLT Reach Truck
• Physical duties
• Stacking of Pallets
• Working as a team
• Hand-balling stock
• General Warehouse Duties

Working Hours

• 1800 - 0600
• Working on a 4 on 4 off basis
• Fixed rotas are provided

Pay

• £17.04 per hour
• £21.73 per hour overtime (working on non rota'd days)
