Job summary

KPI Recruiting Ltd. is seeking experienced FLT drivers for our client in Leek. The role involves operating counter-balance and/or reach FLTs within a manufacturing environment, ensuring stock is moved safely and efficiently, and maintaining accurate records.

You will join a forward-thinking team with development opportunities. Rotating shifts are in place Monday to Friday, with PPE provided and a focus on safety and quality in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Warehouse Stock Systems with the ability to navigate around them independently.
• Current FLT licence for Counter Balance and/or Reach from a recognised training body.
• Reliability, punctuality and consistency are essential to enable you to work effectively as a team member.
• A willingness to learn, share knowledge and develop.
• A willingness to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Good verbal, written and numerical skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive FLTs safely and ensure pre-use checks including battery level.
• Provide manufacturing areas with required materials in a timely manner.
• Carry out stock transactions accurately and record keeping.
• Maintain PPE compliance and safe working areas.
• Report issues affecting safety, quality or cost promptly.
• Support colleagues and adhere to company safety policies.
