Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Goods Out / Production Operative in Widnes, offering a paid, steady role with progression to permanent status. The position requires an RTITB/ITSSAR Counterbalance FLT licence, and prior production in a food environment is preferred.

The role involves training, packing, hygiene duties, and meeting dispatch deadlines. The shift runs Monday–Friday, 7am–3:30pm with a probationary period and salary of £12.71 per hour, plus weekly pay and potential overtime later

Qualifications

• RTITB or ITSSAR Counterbalance FLT licence, refreshed within the last three years.
• Previous FLT experience.
• Previous production experience, ideally within food manufacturing.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.
• Hands-on and proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• During Training – operate production machinery.
• Pack and label products.
• Follow strict food hygiene regulations.
• Work as part of a team to meet dispatch deadlines.
• Carry out clean-down and hygiene duties.
• Perform quality checks on products.
• After Training: store stock safely and efficiently.
• Move raw materials into production areas.
• Continue quality checks and hygiene duties.
