Job summary

Randstad Inhouse Services is seeking a FLT Driver & Production Operative in Wigan to operate a counterbalance FLT and perform production line duties on the plant floor. The role requires manual handling and timely dispatch of products in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid Counterbalance FLT license with at least 6 months of forklift experience and be flexible across early, late, and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Active, accredited FLT Counterbalance license is mandatory.
• At least 6 months of forklift experience required.
• Flexibility across rotating morning, afternoon and night shift patterns.
• Reliable travel arrangements to the Wigan site (WN5 0LB) required.

Working Hours & Shift Patterns

This position operates on rotating early, late, and night shift patterns. Full flexibility across all shift patterns is required.

• Earlies: Monday - Wednesday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thursday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Friday: Off (no shift unless overtime is requested)
• Lates: Monday - Wednesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thursday: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Friday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Nights: Monday - Wednesday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thursday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Friday: Off (no shift unless overtime is requested)

Qualifications

• Mandatory: Active, accredited FLT Counterbalance license.
• Mandatory: At least 6 months of experience operating a forklift truck.
• Desirable: Prior experience working in food manufacturing or production environments.
• Reliable arrangements for traveling to and from the site in Wigan (WN5 0LB).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously.
• Full flexibility across rotating morning, afternoon, and night shift patterns.
