Job summary

Pertemps is hiring for a Production Operative / Forklift Driver in Cullompton. The role involves operating counterbalance forklifts, supporting various production areas, supplying lines with materials, and loading/unloading vehicles. Pay is £14.57 per hour with a 16:30–02:30 shift (Mon–Thu). This is an ongoing full-time position with a reputable employer in the manufacturing sector.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence or forklift experience.
• Previous production/manufacturing or warehouse experience desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.

The Role:

• Operating counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently


• Working across a variety of production areas to support manufacturing operations


• Supplying production lines with materials and removing finished goods


• Loading and unloading vehicles


• Assisting with general production and warehouse duties as required


• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment


• Following production schedules and work instructions

The Candidate:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence or Forklift Experience


• Previous production, manufacturing or warehouse experience is desirable


• Good attention to detail and a strong focus on safety


• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team


• Positive attitude and willingness to learn


• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
