Job Title: Forklift Double Handler

Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off Rotating Days and Nights (6:00 AM 6:00 PM / 6:00 PM 6:00 AM)
Pay Rate: GBP13.69 per hour

About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Forklift Driver - Double Handler to join our CLIENT'S team at a busy Tray Wash facility based in Castleford. This is a full-time position operating on a 4 on, 4 off rotating shift pattern, alternating between day and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a double handler forklift truck safely and efficiently in a fast-paced industrial environment
• Load and unload pallets of trays and other materials
• Transport trays to and from designated areas within the site
• Ensure proper stacking and storage of trays to maintain site safety and operational efficiency
• Carry out pre-use safety checks and report any faults or issues
• Work as part of a team to meet daily production targets
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and site procedures

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence with Double Handler experience (essential)
• Previous experience working in a warehouse or tray wash environment (preferred)
• Ability to work both day and night shifts on a rotating basis
• Good attention to detail and a strong awareness of safety protocols
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-moving, sometimes noisy environment
