Overview

Major Recruitment are looking to recruit an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver for our client based in the York, YO19 area.

Working hours

Working Hours (standard): Monday to Thursday, 7:30am - 5:00pm, Friday 7:30am - 3:00pm.

Peak Season Hours: During the last two weeks of November, hours will increase to Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 6:00pm, with additional weekend overtime available.

Main Responsibilities

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift (approx. 70% FLT / 30% warehouse support)
• Loading and unloading pallets safely
• Transporting stock and materials across the warehouse
• Following all site Health & Safety guidelines
• Supporting with general warehouse duties as required

Candidate Requirements

• A valid Counterbalance licence is essential
• Previous experience within a warehouse or distribution setting
• Flexibility to work additional hours during peak season
• Safety-conscious with a proactive and team-focused attitude
• Own transport required due to site location
