FLT Driver and Production Operative

The successful candidate must have an in-date Counterbalance licence and participate in general operative duties.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8.00am-5.00pm, 2pm finish on a Friday

Pay Rate: £12.45 per hour (£12.55 after 3 months)

***Overtime at premium rates***

We are recruiting General Operatives / Counterbalance Drivers for a prestigious client in the chemicals industry. Opportunities for enthusiastic candidates to join their team, potentially leading to full-time employment.

Responsibilities

  • Complete orders and meet targets in designated areas
  • Machine operation and monitoring
  • Measuring chemicals accurately
  • Ensuring quality standards
  • Moving goods on pallets within the warehouse
  • Stacking goods correctly following inventory instructions
  • Securing loads
  • Completing delivery and stock paperwork
  • Scanning pallets and recording stock movements (training provided)
  • Ensuring truck safety and daily checks
  • Reporting breakdowns, spills, malfunctions
  • Assisting with loading activities as needed

Requirements

• Experience in the chemicals industry

• Team player capable of working independently
