Job summary

ALPLA in Mansfield is seeking a warehouse operative to pick and load orders, and manage incoming deliveries. The role requires coordinating with drivers for trailer movements and maintaining accurate stock locations.

You will handle scrap loading, uphold cleanliness and safety standards, and assist with planner-directed tasks as needed. A valid FLT licence and prior warehouse exposure are essential.

Qualifications

• FLT licence held and valid.
• Experience working in a warehouse/production environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Pick and load all customer orders as required.
• Book in incoming deliveries, store, and allocate stock positions.
• Coordinate with transport drivers to load/unload trailers on docks.
• Load allocated scrap for collection.
• Keep warehouses clean, tidy and safe.
• Perform duties as reasonably requested by the Planner.

Job description

To pick and load orders to customers requirements on time. To receive and book in incoming goods and allocate to specified location. To communicate with transport drivers where trailers need to be moved and allocated onto docks.

Responsibilities (not limited to) - To pick and load all customer orders - To take all incoming deliveries of any consumables (except silo deliveries), book into stock, allocate a GRN number and put stock in allocated position in the warehouses - Liaising with transport drivers to allocate trailers off and on docks - Load any allocated scrap onto the scrap collection vehicle - Keep warehouses in clean and tidy condition - To perform any other duties in connection with the job that may, from time to time, be reasonably requested by the Planner.

Confident and competent on trucks - experience within warehousing environment - Valid FLT license - Aware of H&S requirements within production/warehouse environment - Excellent communication skills (Written & Verbal)
