Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Forklift Operator to efficiently manage the loading and unloading of large foam blocks in a factory setting. Qualifications

• Valid forklift license/certification (Counterbalance essential; clamp attachment experience preferred).
• Proven experience in a warehouse or factory environment.
• Experience using clamp attachments is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift with a clamp to handle large foam blocks.
• Load and unload foam materials from trucks and factory.
• Perform daily safety checks and maintenance on equipment.
• Assist with packaging, stacking, and cleaning as required.

Job Purpose:
To safely and efficiently operate a forklift equipped with a clamp attachment for the loading, unloading, and movement of large foam blocks, while supporting daily factory operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift with a clamp attachment to handle large foam blocks.
• Load and unload foam materials from delivery trucks and internal factory areas.
• Transport foam products and materials to designated storage or processing areas.
• Perform daily safety checks and basic maintenance on the forklift and equipment.
• Assist with general factory duties including packaging, stacking, and cleaning as required.
• Ensure proper storage and stacking of foam blocks to prevent damage.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and factory protocols.
• Report any equipment faults or safety concerns immediately.
• Maintain accurate records of material movement when required.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Valid forklift license/certification (Counterbalance essential; clamp attachment experience preferred).
• Proven experience in a warehouse or factory environment.
• Experience using clamp attachments is highly desirable.
• Ability to handle large and awkward loads safely.
• Good awareness of health and safety standards.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.

Working Hours:
