Job summary

Aqumen Recruitment is recruiting for an FLT Counterbalance Driver based in Wakefield (WF1). The role involves safe movement of materials around the manufacturing site and supporting production and warehouse teams.

You will operate a counterbalance forklift, load/unload deliveries, move stock, and help keep the area tidy while adhering to health and safety procedures. A valid Counterbalance FLT licence is required; previous FLT experience is preferred and reliability is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
• Previous FLT experience preferred.
• Experience within a warehouse or manufacturing environment is advantageous.
• Good understanding of health & safety.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operating a counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading deliveries.
• Moving raw materials, finished products and stock around the site.
• Loading and unloading vehicles.
• Keeping stock organised and stored safely.
• Supporting the production team when required.
• Following all health & safety procedures and company policies.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy working area.
