Counterbalance Driver & Factory Labourer

Monday - Thursday 7am-4pm

Friday 7am - 12pm

13.50 per hour

HU9 Hull Location

Based in Hull, East Yorkshire, their team of modular building specialists works with private businesses and public sector organisations both on our doorstep and all around the UK. Our client is currently looking to employ a forklift operator/labourer to Joining their growing team.

The day-to-day duties will consist of the following tasks:

• Keeping the factory tidy and removing waste materials to help keep a safe environment for our employees to work in.
• Bringing materials into the factory for the projects as they are manufactured.
• Keeping the materials for the joiners stocked up as not to holt production.
• Moving modular sections and portacabins out of the factory on completion.
• You will bring new steel frames into the factory along with the cabin packs for assembly.
• We load the modular frames and portacabins onto the transport for our customers with the use of multiple forklifts as well as unloading the steel frames when they come in from our supplier.
• You will have to book the Biffa 40-yard roll on roll of skips in for change over on a weekly basis.
• The daily checking and inspection of the fleet of forklift trucks along with reporting issues relating to them.
• Above are some of the duties required on a day-to-day basis.
• Depending on how the candidate progresses there is scope to move up in the roll that can involve.
• Been one of the key holders
• Contributing to factory audits
• Assisting with the QC procedures
• Contributing to the health and safety procedures

Requirements for the role:

• In-date Counterbalance FLT Licence
• Strong work ethic
• Physically fit and healthy as there's a lot of on feet work as well as forklift
• Previous experience with forklift & factory labouring essential
