Overview

Pertemps Leeds Branch have a new and exciting opportunity. Our well-established, globally recognised client requires X3 FLT Counterbalance drivers.

Details

Hourly Rate: £14.41 per hour - Monday to Friday
(£19.48ph - Working after 10pm Friday until 10pm Sunday)

Working Pattern: 3, 4 or 5 active days/nights - this will always be given in advance. Shifts are around 10/12 hours.

Working hours: 6.00am - 6.00pm and 6.00pm - 6.00am (12 hour shifts). You must be flexible with working hours.

Role

If you have a history of driving FLT's, whether it be an in-house licence or if your license has now expired, this could be a great way for you to get back into FLT operations.

You will be operating a forklift while ensuring efficiency and safety. You will use a counterbalance truck with a clamp attachment. Operators are responsible for operating and managing industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks, trucks or storage facilities.

FLT duties & responsibilities

• Loading and unloading

• Transport of raw materials to production workstations
• Inspection of machinery and vehicle defects
• Determine the need for repairs
• Keep updated records of inventory
• Produce activity logs
