Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking experienced FLT Counterbalance Operative to work in Wakefield. The ideal candidate will have a valid FLT licence and at least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment. Duties include operating FLT vehicles, loading/unloading shipments, and tracking stock. This role offers a pay rate of £12.29 - £15.00 per hour with 12-hour shifts on a 4 on 4 off schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid accredited FLT licence required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate both B1 and B2 category FLT.

Responsibilities

• Operate Counterbalance Fork Lift Trucks, both category B1 & B2.
• Loading & unloading both incoming deliveries and outbound shipments.
• Working on computer systems to track stock.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment.
• General duties as required.

Job Title: FLT Counterbalance Operative

First Choice are currently recruiting on behalf of our customer, an international manufacturer of aluminium food & beverage containers. We are looking for experienced FLT counterbalance operatives with both B1 & B2 category licence.

Training will be provided, however the ideal candidate will have a valid accredited FLT licence and at least 1 year of experience in a similar role and in a manufacturing environment.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

• Operate Counterbalance Fork Lift Trucks, both category B1 & B2
• Loading & unloading both incoming deliveries and outbound shipments
• Working on computer systems to track stock
• Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment
• General duties as required
