Pertemps Manchester is recruiting an experienced FLT Driver for ad hoc shifts at a Trafford Park warehouse. Pay rate is £14.33 per hour, with 7:00am–7:00pm hours and shifts typically 1–2 days per week from Monday to Wednesday.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence is essential.
• Previous warehouse and counterbalance experience.
• Experience operating a double pallet forklift preferred; training may be provided.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication, reliability and punctuality.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate counterbalance forklifts and other MHE.
• Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
• Move and organise stock within the warehouse.
• Operate double pallet forklifts where required.

FLT Driver - Ad Hoc Shifts | Trafford Park

Location: Trafford Park

Pay Rate: £14.33 per hour

Hours: 7:00am - 7:00pm

Shifts: Ad hoc, 1-2 days per week, Between Monday to Wednesday

We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver to join a major logistics supplier based in Trafford Park.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced forklift driver looking for flexible, ad hoc work within a fast-paced warehouse environment. There is also the potential for a long-term position following a successful temporary period.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate counterbalance forklifts and other MHE.
• Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
• Move and organise stock within the warehouse.
• Operate double pallet forklifts where required.
• Pick, pack and stage customer orders.
• Complete routine forklift and equipment safety checks.

What We're Looking For

Shift & Break Information

Working hours: 7:00am - 7:00pm

Shifts: Ad hoc, typically 1-2 days per week between Monday to Wednesday.

Breaks: 75 minutes total — 3 × 15-minute breaks and 1 × 30-minute break.

All successful candidates will be required to complete an FLT assessment and site induction before starting work.
