FLT COUNTERBALANCE DRIVER - STORE AND DESPATCH OPERATIVE

MONDAY - FRIDAY: ROTATING SHIFT: 6.00AM - 2.00PM /2.00PM - 10.00PM

PAY RATE: £14.04 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an FLT Counterbalance Driver - Store and Despatch Operative to join our well-established client based in Skelmersdale, Lancashire.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.

The ideal candidate must have FLT Counterbalance Licence and experience operating Counterbalance trucks

Day to Day Duties

• Complete daily and weekly dispatch and stores data input
• Ensure all report picking is completed per works order
• Daily checks on production output to ensure the correct packaging is available
• The unloading and loading of supplier transport
• To liaise with production and other internal departments
• Managing the external yard area
• Action internal transport requests
• Locating goods from suppliers and issuing correctly to production.
• Ensuring all vehicles are loaded correctly, and all transport documentation is signed off
• Ensure the shipping department have all the relevant information to dispatch goods
• Process internal requisitions

Essential Skills

• Effective communicator with the ability to build relationships with individuals at all levels.
• Strong team-work and interpersonal skills
• Ability to deliver a high standard of customer service both internally and externally
• FLT Counterbalance Licence
• FLT Counterbalance experience

Desirable Experience

• Experience of working within a stores and dispatch function
• Experience of working as part of a team
• Experience of working within a deadline driven function
