FLT COUNTERBALANCE DRIVER / WAREHOUSE OPERATOR

MONDAY - FRIDAY: 08:30 – 17:00

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operator to join our client based in East Kilbride.

This is a dual role combining operating a Counterbalance forklift with manual warehouse duties, including heavy lifting and order picking, for a leading Renewable Energy Parts Distributor.

• £12.21 per hour
• Weekly pay
• Free on-site parking
• Full training provided

Day to Day Duties

• Working in a small but busy warehouse environment
• Picking and making up customer orders — this is the main focus of the role
• Heavy lifting and manual handling of large products including solar panels and renewable energy equipment
• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck, mainly for unloading deliveries and loading outgoing orders
• Carrying out pre and post-use safety checks on the forklift
• Packing orders carefully and efficiently
• Following Health & Safety procedures at all times
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
• Supporting general warehouse tasks as required
• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
• Experience operating a Counterbalance forklift
• Physically fit and confident with heavy manual handling
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
• Positive, can-do attitude and good team player
• Previous warehouse or order-picking experience
• Own transport due to site location
