Job summary

Job&Talent is recruiting for Warehouse Operatives with a valid FLT certificate to work with Unipart JCB in Cheadle, Staffordshire. This is a stable, ongoing role with Monday to Friday day shifts and weekly pay, with overtime available.

The role offers 39 hours per week at £14.16 per hour, with £21.24 per hour overtime after 39 hours, plus ongoing work in a busy warehouse environment. Location details: Cheadle, ST10 2JU.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift/FLT certificate is essential.
• Proven experience operating a forklift.
• Experience in warehouse, yard or logistics environment.
• Good understanding of health & safety procedures.
• Ability to carry out some manual handling.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work in a busy yard environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to complete paperwork and check GRNs.
• Reliable and hardworking.

Responsibilities

• Operate FLT/TLT and other material-handling equipment safely.
• Move products and materials to correct storage locations.
• Safely unload incoming materials and products.
• Work within the yard and assist with truck off-loading.
• Check GRNs and complete relevant paperwork.
• Record offload information for audits.
• Store products in the correct locations.
• Use a radio to communicate with team members and supervisors.
• Follow site procedures and health & safety guidelines.
• Carry out general warehouse duties and manual handling when required.
