Job summary

Bristol Industrial in Rochdale is seeking a Production Operative with FLT to contribute to daily manufacturing targets in a safety‑driven environment. You will operate the forklift, support production, and ensure stock movements and warehouse duties are carried out accurately.

The role requires a valid Counterbalance FLT license and previous manufacturing or warehouse experience. You will work Monday to Thursday 7:00–15:30 and Friday 7:00–13:30, with every effort to meet quality standards and

Qualifications

• Must have valid Counterbalance FLT license.
• Experience in production, manufacturing or warehouse.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Produce multiple batches during the day as per product type and size.
• Ensure production activities are safe, efficient and compliant with procedures.
• Work to production schedules, quality standards and deadlines.
• Demonstrate competency across all areas of Production.
• Work with minimal supervision while maintaining high quality:**
• Support senior team members with ad hoc projects and improvement activities.
• Report low stock levels promptly to help prevent production delays.
• Operate a Forklift Truck (FLT) safely and in line with procedures.
• Load and unload incoming/outgoing deliveries safely.
• Move raw materials, finished products and other goods around the site.
• Assist with storage and organisation of materials and finished products.
• Carry out warehouse duties, including order picking and stock movements.
• Ensure materials are handled to prevent damage or contamination.
• Maintain accurate stock movements and report discrepancies.
