United Pet Foods is recruiting a Machine Operative to load and unload cans and run retorts while upholding strict safety and quality standards. You will follow SOPs, assist with sterile processing, and contribute to traceability and packaging accuracy.

The role requires FLT experience, good communication, and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe, compliant production area. Training and development are provided within a busy site environment.

Competenze

• FLT licence or extensive forklift experience required.
• Ability to load/unload cans and operate retorts safely.
• Strong understanding of GMP and health & safety policies.
• Able to follow SOPs, maintain traceability, and complete paperwork accurately.

Mansioni

• Follow health and safety policy and promote a positive safety culture.
• Load/unload machines and assist with retorts during sterilisation.
• Maintain cleanliness and ensure proper labelling and packaging.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and managers to keep production running smoothly.
• Complete production paperwork for traceability and CCP controls.
